Pumped for PUMPKIN

Happy National Pumpkin Day!

I want to thank Danielle from Clean Food and Creative Fitness for her pumpkin post… otherwise I would have never known!

Today I am going to be doing a recipe round-up of all the pumpkin recipes I have made on this blog. This includes recipes with pumpkin as the main ingredient, as well as recipes that just contain pumpkin.


To start, let’s go all the way back to my first ever pumpkin recipes that I posted on Eating 4 Balance (note the progressive photo quality of my pictures…).

      Pumpkin muffins are the best. I’ve never used rosemary as a seasoning for anything before. I bet those would be great! And I’ve been meaning to make some soup. Great for the colder weather.

  1. I’d much rather carve a pumpkin. I just don’t like pumpkin! But some of these recipes still look tasty, so I guess I can’t make a blanket statement about pumpkin. And I did buy some pumpkin spice coffee beans today (didn’t even know it was pumpkin day when I did!)–but then again, pumpkin SPICE is more about the cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, and I love all of those. Work days are extra-long when you have fun new coffee waiting on you…

    • Yes. Terrible πŸ˜› You need to get on that right away! Even just a spoonful of pumpkin puree will suffice…. On second thought, I may be the only who likes pumpkin plain. So ya, back to the recipe idea!
