Greetings from Myrtle Beach!
Today is another WIAW from Peas and Crayons. I am really excited to show and tell you all my FOOD, FITNESS AND FUN!
First off, FOOD.
My meals down here have been incredibly boring and predictable. They all revolve around carrots, grapes, chicken, bananas and prunes. No joke. I usually pack up some grapes and carrots for when we go to a restaurant. That way I know I can eat something!
I also make the same breakfast every morning. But I am quite okay with that. I mean, look how delicious this looks:
Protein Cookie Dough Ice Cream
1 frozen banana slices
1-2 Tbsp almond milk if needed
2-4 Tbsp protein powder (any flavor)
1/3 cup frozen or fresh fruit
toppings (puffed rice cereal, granola, protein pudding, chocolate chips, almond butter, etc.)
Place frozen banana slices in a food processor. Add almond milk if needed and blend until smooth. Scoop out 3/4 of the mixture and place in a bowl or mug. This is your first layer. Then, starting with 2 Tbsp, add protein powder to the food processor and blend until it forms coarse crumbles. Layer on top of banana ice cream..Then add frozen fruit and desired toppings. Enjoy!

Now onto FITNESS…
My main source of fitness has been walking on the beach. Every morning my dad and I get up, eat breakfast, and head out on a walk.
When my friends wake up a few hours later, we sometimes go to the beach. On Monday we went swimming in the ocean for awhile, and then attempted to boogey board. We jumped in the pool back out our condo to cool off.
Well, everyday on our trip has been fun so far!
On Sunday when we left, we talked/slept the entire way down! It sort of sounded like twenty questions:
Them: Who is your favorite actor?
Me: Leonardo DiCaprio…. Duh!
Them: What would you do with a $500,000?
Me: Save it and put some in the stock market.
Dad: Eh! Doesn’t count!
And so on and so forth for 12 straight hours.
We have also gone hunting for seashells…
Watched Batman Begins in preparation for The Dark Knight coming out on Friday!
And walked through Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum
to round out the day.
